Brian T. Coughlin is a recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a Certificate in Tax Law. As a student, Mr. Coughlin represented Loyola at the National Moot Court Tax Competition, where he took home the following awards: First Runner Up Best Brief award and the First Runner Up Oral Argument award.
At that same competition, he successfully argued in front of a distinguished panel of judges, including Judge Lewis R. Carluzzo, Judge John F. Dean, and Judge Daniel A. Guy Jr. of the Federal Tax Court. Mr. Coughlin’s colleagues took note of his advocacy skills and his winning performance at the Moot Court program and named him the 2015-16 Moot Court Student of the Year Award.
