Thomas J. Bacon concentrates his practice representing clients in broad based commercial litigation and family law with first chair experience from intake through trial in substantive areas such as: shareholder derivative actions, restrictive employment covenants, breach of contract suits, commercial real estate disputes, antitrust, and divorce. While in school, he served as a Staff Editor with the John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law, which published his article, Caveat Bibliotheca: The First Sale Doctrine and the Future of Libraries after Costco v. Omega, 11 J. MARSHALL REV. INTELL. PROP. L. 414 (2012); Additionally, he served as the Moot Court program's Chief Justice and competed nationally in several events.

He is currently admitted to practice in Illinois, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Thomas J. Bacon became a member of the Northern District of Illinois Federal Trial Bar in 2014.
